Jeff sent the RFMA leadership team a token of appreciation with a handwritten note thanking them for being part of his leadership journey. Paul is keeping the note. His Fave for the week: recognition, and the little things people remember.
Duro-Last
Paul met Cari at the Restaurant Facilities Summit in Downey, and she was one of the first RFMA people he really clicked with. She asks questions and actually listens. She is also one of only two vendors to have joined him on the show.
Classic Collision — Regional Facilities Operations Leader
Brady drove down to Orlando to have lunch with Paul. He handles pressure better than anyone Paul knows, and he has become a genuine friend — the kind Paul can talk life through with before talking work orders five minutes later.
Daniel makes an impression without trying: selfless, structured, steady. He served in the military, and Paul thanks him for his service. Outside of work, he is a husband and family man. Paul says he is better for knowing him.
Director of Facilities
Paul first noticed Nick at a facilities conference coffee shop, overhearing him excitedly talking about coaching his son's game. He is a respected voice and mentor to many, a husband and dad of three who shows up for family and the young men he coaches. Titles are great. Legacy is better.
Dane is a Marine, a husband, and a dad who earned the word brother fast after guesting on Paul's show. He gives back through Honor Flights, helping veterans experience the honor they earned. Paul says he became a better man just by knowing him.
Wonder
Luke's smile and kindness are infectious, and he cares about his operators like family. In a business where things break and phones ring at the worst times, Luke still cares enough to make it right. They clicked when Luke joined the show and became friends.
Scot was the first guest on the Facilities First show. They bonded over life, grandchildren, faith, and the facilities world. Paul calls him one of the good ones and one of the best — thankful for the conversation and the friendship.
KFC
Tee builds relationships with partners, and though he and Paul have never worked together, Tee has put Paul's name in rooms. Paul respects people who give without keeping score. That is exactly who Tee is.
Sarah is making her name known in the facilities industry, and Paul is blessed to call her a friend. She is talented and tenacious, but first and foremost a good human. He admires people who show up, do the work, and lift others.
Facilities Manager
Michele is a friend and trusted confidant who leads with heart. She treats people like people rather than numbers on a spreadsheet, and Paul says she makes everyone around her better.
